Renewed Dec. 13th Solstice Pageant Promises
Holiday Delights for All Ages

The children and youth of First Parish have been hard at working preparing for this year’s performance of the annual Solstice Pageant. Charlotte Simpson has taken over the "directorship" of the pageant and has added a few new traditions to our multicultural celebration. Please see Charlotte if your child or youth has not yet signed up for a part in the pageant; there are plenty of spots left to fill! The pageant will take place Sunday, December 13th at 5:00 pm, followed by soup for all at the Beal House.

Rehearsals are well underway...except for the Bell Choir!

Some youth have expressed an interest but we need to pin it down to determine if we will have a youth bell choir for this Solstice Pageant. We will need at least six players. Jim Kuemmerle has added two new songs to the program, so there is plenty of music to play! Here's the schedule:

  • Nov. 29th - Rehearsal—Beal House (11:30am)

  • Dec.   6th - Full production rehearsal— Meeting House (12 pm)

  • Dec. 13th - Final dress rehearsal—Meeting House (3 pm)

Pageant performance—Meeting House (5 pm)

A definite YES or NO from all Youth Group members would be appreciated so we'll know where we stand. Please contact Diane Grant at 781.934.9437 or dgrant9437@yahoo.com.
