Beal House and Sampson Hall Rentals

Our facilities are available for rental for single events, multi-day workshops, or on a continuous basis. The facilities include the Meeting House, Beal House, and Sampson Hall and can be used for services, concerts and other special events. Seating in all but the Meeting House is flexible and can be arranged to suit most needs. An approximately 50-space off-street paved parking lot and an additional unpaved rear parking lot are located adjacent to the Beal House and Sampson Hall. Our buildings are fully accessible. Separate restroom facilities are available in both the Beal House and Sampson Hall. Our facilities are perfect for parties, concerts, large meetings, catered events, bridal and baby showers, or receptions of any kind.

Sampson Hall

The largest of our facilities, Sampson Hall offers a seating capacity of approximately 100 people and direct access to the kitchen and is fully accessible. The room also offers a stage perfect for award ceremonies, plays, school events, and DJs and concerts.

Beal House

The Beal House offers a more intimate atmosphere for smaller gatherings or meetings, with a seating capacity of 40 people or less. This room offers direct access to the kitchen.


The kitchen is modern in design and equipped with two stoves, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, large coffee pot, and three sinks. It also offers plenty of counter space and serving windows to both Sampson Hall and the Beal House.

Outdoor Events

Our parking lots and lawn are available for rent for yard sales, auctions, flea markets, and fairs. An optional custodian fee includes setting of tables and chairs and the use of the indoor restrooms.

Rites of Passage

The First Parish Kingston Church welcomes the use of the facilities for weddings, and other rites (child dedications, funerals, memorials) by both members and non-members of this church. The Meeting House is a traditional New England style church, which seats up to 300 people. More information is available upon request.

*Pledging members do not pay minister or sexton fees. Organist fees do apply


The Use of Church and Sexton fees are required at the time of booking. All other fees must be paid at the time of rehearsal. If no rehearsal is needed, payment must be made at least 24 hours prior to the ceremony.


The users of the facilities agree…

A. To be responsible for the cost of repairs or replacement due to damage of the buildings, equipment or grounds.
 B.  To adhere to the rules and policies for the use of the building.
1. Limit use of the facilities to the agreed upon areas.
2. The use of Parish property, is permitted only with prior approval and receipt of signed contract.
3. Prior approval of the Building & Grounds Committee is required for consuming or serving beer or wine in any of the buildings. No other alcoholic beverages are permitted. No alcoholic beverages of any kind may be bought or sold on the premises. If you would like to request permission to serve, please contact the Office Administrator.
4. Parish equipment may not be removed from the building. Church supplies and ongoing Church projects are to be left untouched.
5. No smoking is permitted inside the buildings or within 50 feet of the buildings.  A designated smoking area is located in the rear of the parking lot..
6. Any and all signage to promote event must have prior approval.
7. Users shall remove all signs and decorations placed inside or outside the hall immediately upon conclusion of the event or use.
8. The facilities must be left in orderly condition, with tables cleared and wiped clean, thermostats turned down to 55 degrees, windows and doors locked and lights out. Buildings and contents are to be left as found.
9. Adequate adult supervision is required at all times when activities include children and youths.
10. First Parish is not responsible for items stored in Parish buildings.
